- Stephen Wu is an attorney with Silicon Valley Law Group. He advises clients concerning virtual worlds, augmented reality, and other new media. He also helps clients with information security, privacy, computer fraud, and secure ecommerce matters. His litigation practice includes trade secret, copyright, trademark, information technology, and business litigation, along with e-discovery and electronic records retention counseling. Steve acts as outside general counsel to Silicon Valley startups and technology companies, drafting and negotiating licensing, marketing agreements, and other technology transactions. Finally, he advises clients concerning cutting edge information technologies, such as mobile computing, cloud computing, robotics, artificial intelligence, Big Data, human-computer interfaces, and the Internet of Things.
Steve served as the the 2009-2010 President of the SL Bar Association. From 2010 to 2011, Steve served as Chair of the American Bar Association’s Section of Science and Technology Law. He currently serves as Chair of the High Technology Law Section of the Santa Clara County Bar Association.
Steve is a Lecturer at Santa Clara Law and has taught Virtual Worlds Law.
