It is my view that the SL Bar Association is in a transitional phase.  Over the past year, the level of interest  in association participation has fallen off.  Our mission, as a board, must be to continue our attempt to find ways to make the association more meaningful to its members.  For my part, I have reached out to individuals and to host social activities on the theory that posssibly we can make progress in finding a collective direction through enhanced informal conversation.  Second Life in general and the SL Bar Association in particular constitutes a superb platform for many professional benefits from networking to continuing legal education.  I am anxious to continue lending my support toward that objective.
